Company Description: Iris Freight (CI) Limited is a daily freight shipping service between Guernsey and Jersey. It provides a reliable and efficient delivery service with professionally qualified captains and crew. Its principal boat is a 14m catamaran called Channel Chieftain V, which has operated successfully in the North Sea servicing wind farms for many years. It sails every day of the year, except Christmas Day, delivering a wide range of commercial and personal items. Iris is also licensed to carry up to 12 passengers, which will provide an alternative route for returning to Guernsey in the event of disrupted flights due to fog. Iris is a seven-day-a-week door to door freight service between the islands. On a normal day the boat will leave Guernsey around 7am after delivering the national newspapers.
