Who we are

Guernsey Chamber has been connecting, representing, and championing island business since 1808. We're the largest business community in Guernsey with members across every sector, from one-person startups to the island's most influential organisations.

We do three things.

  • We connect businesses to each other and to the people who matter; in government, in the community, and across the network.
  • We advocate for Guernsey business where it counts; in policy, in regulation, and at the table where decisions get made.
  • And we lead on the issues that affect the island's future; talent, housing, sustainability, growth. If your business is in Guernsey, this is where it belongs.

Who we are

Chamber is run day to day by a small team, and shaped by a Board of volunteers who give their time because they believe in what we're building. Between them, they bring finance, law, PR, HR, technology and no shortage of opinions about what Guernsey business needs next.

Getting Involved

There's more than one way to get involved with Chamber. You can join a working group, speak at an event, contribute to a policy consultation, or simply come along and connect. Standing for the Board is one route — usually at the AGM, but nominations can happen at any point in the year. Get in touch any time to find out what's right for you.

More info on joining the board can be found here.

The Board

Chamber is run by its members, for its members — and our Board is where that starts. A group of business leaders from across the island, elected by you, giving their time to steer Chamber's work and make sure your voice carries weight where it counts.

They bring different sectors, different experience, and different perspectives to the table. What they share is a belief that Guernsey business does better when it works together.
